Laurus milestone honored with a new, distinctive brand identity

Laurus Transaction Advisors celebrates its fifth anniversary with a new brand image, tagline and website that builds on the momentum of the firm’s success in addressing the transaction services needs of private equity firms and private and public companies.

The rebranding is the positive outcome from the company’s increasing industry recognition, double-digit growth and expanding client base across the U.S. The new image and positioning also coincide with Laurus’ plan to create long-term value for its clients by responding to the market and developing strategies to help clients best address complex finance and accounting issues.

“When we founded Laurus, we saw an unmet need for private equity firms and companies and believed there was an opportunity to provide a more focused approach to financial due diligence,” said Mark Coleman, co-founder of Laurus Transaction Advisors. “For the last five years Laurus has not only adapted to the often volatile business environment of transaction services, we’ve uncovered opportunities to evolve our due diligence practice by helping CFO organizations solve the unique challenges they face to reach their company’s strategic objectives. Our new brand builds on this momentum.”

The combination of new services, market analysis and intensive client feedback all contributed to the development of the firm’s new brand identity. Using the name Laurus, Latin for “success,” as the basis, the firm chose a logo mark that conveyed a complementing tone of victory. The logo mark features three interlocking circles and visually illustrates the connection between Laurus, its clients and their opportunities. The open circles and rings show complexity in thinking and also represent the mathematical symbol for “therefore.”

The firm’s brand promise emphasizes experience, strategic thinking and value. These core values are also captured in the new tagline, “Insight. Experience. Results.” and act as the cornerstone of Laurus’ new brand.

“We’ve always delivered a level of expertise and attention that was previously uncommon to middle market private equity investors,” said Patrick Martin, co-founder of Laurus Transaction Advisors, “Our new brand complements our unique core values. We’re working to change the landscape for client expectations of service providers focused on the middle market by asking them to demand what Laurus offers:  experience and strategic thinking to solve the challenges they face.”
